Job summary

Stream-Flo Industries Ltd. is seeking a warehouse technician to assemble, test and paint wellhead equipment in a busy Edmonton facility.

You will pick, pack and distribute materials for assembly or shipping and help stock and organize the warehouse, ensuring products are properly identified and stored. Candidates should have a High School Diploma with 1–2 years of related experience, plus basic computer skills and a safety-minded attitude.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 1–2 years related experience required.
• Mechanical assembly/repair experience preferred.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience is an asset.
• Computer skills using MS Office or ERP system are expected.
• Knowledge of Stream-Flo Industries or competitors' equipment is an asset.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and ability to work independently or in a team.

Job description

Primary Duties:

• Assemble, test and painting of wellhead equipment.
• Pick and distribute material for assembly, storage or shipping.
• Assist with stocking requirements by ensuring products are properly identified and put away.
• Organize and maintain the work area, including maintenance/inspections of equipment, product storage containers and racking.
• Responsible for inventory assignment for both warehouse and order selection.
• Participate in safety meetings, monthly safety inspections.
• Assist with the shipping area as required.
• Participate in rotational on call schedule.
• Ensure compliance with Stream-Flo Group Guiding Principles in terms of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental regulations or policies.
• Assist with shop housekeeping and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Preferred candidates will possess a combination of the following:

• High School Diploma, supplemented with 1-2 years of related experience.
• Mechanical assembly/repair experience.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience is an asset.
• Computer skills using MS Office or ERP system.
• Knowledge of Stream-Flo Industries and/or competitors’ equipment would be an asset.
• Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of equipment use and field applications.
• A strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Good communication (oral and written).
• Detail oriented, strong work ethic and good interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with good organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Valid driver license along with a reliable vehicle.
