Brown Bros. Agencies Ltd. is seeking a licensed Rental Property Manager to join our downtown Victoria team. You will manage a portfolio across Greater Victoria, overseeing day-to-day operations, maintenance, and financial tasks with full in-house support.

You will show units, negotiate leases, prepare documents, and coordinate repairs, while staying compliant with tenancy laws and maintaining strong owner/tenant relationships. A 35-hour week and company car accompany this role.

Qualifications

• BC Rental Property Management Licence is required.
• 2+ years direct experience in real estate or property management preferred.
• Understanding of Real Estate Services Act and Residential Tenancy Act.
• Excellent, respectful communication with owners and tenants.
• Strong organization and ability to manage many tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software.
• Able to work in a active team with a people-focused mindset.

Brown Bros.' Rental Property Management division is growing, and we are looking for a licensed Rental Property Manager to join the team. You get a company car, so you never have to put kilometres on your own vehicle, plus a 35-hour week and full in-house administrative and accounting support.

At a glance

• Salary: $70,000–$75,000 per year, based on experience, plus bonus structure
• Licence: BC Rental Property Management Licence (required)
• Experience: 2+ years in residential property management preferred
• Company car: Provided for all property visits; no need to use your own vehicle
• Schedule: 35-hour week, Monday to Friday, at our downtown Victoria office
• Vacation: 3 weeks paid vacation to start

About the role

You will oversee a portfolio of rental properties across Greater Victoria, building strong relationships with property owners and tenants and handling the day-to-day operational, maintenance, administrative and financial work of each property. Our administrative and accounting teams support you in-house, and portfolios are kept well balanced so you can deliver the level of service our owners and tenants expect.

What you'll do

• Show units across a variety of properties in Greater Victoria
• Negotiate and approve leases on behalf of owners, and make sure lease terms are met
• Prepare all leasing documents and tenant notices
• Organize and manage an efficient work order process
• Complete and report on suite inspections
• Obtain quotes, and prepare and administer contracts for property services such as maintenance
• Coordinate repairs, maintenance and renovations
• Research the market to strengthen the current portfolio
• Prepare expense and income reports
• Make sure calls from owners and tenants are answered and resolved

What you bring

• - BC Rental Property Management Licence (required)
• - 2+ years of direct experience in real estate or property management (preferred)
• - A clear, confident understanding of the Real Estate Services Act and the Residential Tenancy Act
• - Excellent, respectful communication with owners and tenants
• - Strong organization and the ability to manage many tasks at once
