We are currently seeking a Rental Manager to join our Driving Force division at our Edmonton West branch . This role provides leadership and role modeling to Rentals employees to deliver an exceptional service experience for customers. Key responsibilities include driving the department's operating performance, customer satisfaction, fostering a positive employee culture, ensuring a safe work environment, managing budgets, and maintaining effective vendor relationships.

What You’ll Do

  • Make hiring decisions for the rental department, including interviewing and selecting new team members.
  • Provide support for the orientation, onboarding, training, and career development of team members to enhance their skills and engagement.
  • Plan and facilitate regular meetings to communicate process improvements, cultural values, and other important company information to the team, ensuring they are informed and aligned with the company's vision and goals.
  • Foster strong customer relationships by establishing rapport, understanding the unique needs, expectations, and requirements of each customer.
  • Uphold our customer service promise while encouraging the team to do the same.
  • Regularly monitor customer reviews online to ensure high-quality service and safeguard our public image.
  • Participate in pre-fleet ordering, fleet receiving, rig-up, and de-fleeting processes in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
  • Analyze vehicle fleet data to identify opportunities for increased utilization, reduction of excess inventory, and enhanced profitability.
  • Collaborate with the credit department to establish accounts and collect outstanding invoices.
  • Participate in budget planning with the Branch Manager.

What You Bring

  • You bring 2-3 years of leadership experience in retail customer service, sales, or operations.
  • You know how to build relationships with customers, vendors, and internal partners.
  • You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at multitasking, problem-solving, and ensuring compliance with procedures.
  • You know your way around Microsoft office.
