Type: Independent Contractor
Location: Remote - Alberta, Canada. MUST be based and licensed as a Real Estate Broker in Alberta to be considered.
Scope of Work:
- Assist Designated Broker as and when required.
- Train all licensees affiliated with the Company’s provincial entity (“Provincial Agents”).
- Enforce compliance with the Rules and Regulations and deliver exceptional brokerage support to agents in their representation of clients and customers.
- Timely complete all tasks assigned through the Company’s Operations department.
- Regularly attend broker training and Company’s Operations meetings.
- Respond to all communication and chats promptly.
- Remain current and knowledgeable regarding updates/changes to the Rules and Regulations and any and all Province contracts and forms, and communicate updates/changes to Province Agents.
- Monitor and track team registrations as required in the province.
- Review files submitted in the Company’s Transaction Management System within 72 hours after agent uploads.
- Handle complaints and agent issues under the direction of Brokerage Operations.
- Ensure demand letters, notices of lawsuits and other correspondence of legal proceedings be turned over to Company Operations leadership promptly.
- Facilitate education training classes for Province Agents on a regular basis.
- Maintain regular communication with Province Agents, including newsletters, compliance tips, informational videos, etc.
- Ensure monthly license audits are complete, accurate and signed off on.
- Enforce compliance of licensing, provincial regulations and federal programs.
- Assist Company in obtaining and/or maintaining province licensing.
- Assist Company in opening additional Association/Boards or MLS within the province.
- Assist Company through positive conversations with potential agents who are interested in joining Company.
- Manage the ongoing enhancement of and compliance with company-wide and individual provincial brokerage operations manuals.
- Support innovation in how the company can efficiently support its growing provincial agent base in terms of brokerage operations, with the ability to implement systems and processes.
- Responsible to support the Broker of Record/Managing Broker when they are unavailable.
