Job summary

Jobsite Industrial Rentals, part of the Toromont Industries Ltd. family, is Canada’s leading industrial equipment rental company, seeking a Rental Coordinator to help our branch run smoothly and keep customers coming back.

You’ll be the face of the branch, engaging with customers by phone, email, and in person; coordinate rentals, deliveries, and returns; prepare paperwork; and balance funds at day’s end. We offer a company pension, extended health, dental and vision care, life and disability

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); Systematics is a plus.
• Familiarity with industrial/construction equipment a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to work well in a team and plan effectively.
• Self-motivated with strong time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of the branch with customers by phone, email and in person.
• Coordinate equipment rentals, deliveries and returns with precision.
• Prepare delivery paperwork and contracts and update internal tracking systems.
• Assist with loading/unloading customer pick-ups and stock shelves.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a supportive work environment.
• Balance daily invoices, verify pricing, and manage funds.
• Open/close the branch as needed and monitor rental stock.

As a Rental Coordinator, you'll be a key team member, helping to keep our operations running smoothly and our clients coming back for more.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Be the face of our branch by engaging with customers through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions with a professional attitude.
• Coordinateequipment rentals, deliveries, and returns with precision and care by preparing paperwork and contracts for deliveries, updating internal product spreadsheets and any other product tracking systems.
• Assist with loading and unloading customer pick-ups while keeping our product shelves stocked and ready.
• Collaborate seamlessly with your colleagues to create a supportive and efficient work environment.
• Wrap up each day by checking invoices, ensuring pricing accuracy, and balancing funds.
• Act as a trusted team member by opening and closing the branch when needed.
• Keep a keen eye on our rental equipment and saleable goods, ensuring we always have what our customers need when they need it.
• Follow all workplace safety protocols and environmentally sound practices, making sure everyone stays safe.

What We're Looking For

• Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel.) Experience with Systematics would be an asset.
• Industrial Knowledge: Familiarity with Industrial/construction equipment and building products.
• Customer Service Oriented: Excellent communication skills and a knack for making customers feel valued.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
