Job summary

CIMA+ is seeking a System Integrator to join our cross-country teams. The role involves PLC/SCADA development, FAT/SAT, site startup, and ongoing technical support across multiple offices in Ontario and nearby areas.

The candidate will work on projects in energy and automation, requiring strong programming skills, networking, and problem-solving abilities while traveling to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of System Integration and SCADA development experience.
• Proficiency in PAC/PLC/RPU/RTU/DCS programming.
• SCADA/HMI programming including web-based interfaces.
• RTAC/Data concentrator programming proficiency.
• Familiarity with IEC61131 standards.
• Networking, virtualization, and security appliance experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop client/server communication strategies using protocols such as DNP3, Modbus, OPC-UA, IEC61850.
• Perform PLC, RTAC, RTU and SCADA programming, FAT/SAT, site startup and commissioning.
• Interpret control system schematics and develop Process Control Narratives and I/O Lists.
• Prepare I/O lists and tag summaries from vendor cut-sheets.
• Contribute to system integration projects and collaborate with the team to ensure client satisfaction.
