Sedgwick Canada Telecommute-QC is seeking a Level 2/3 Workers' Comp Consultant to analyze complex workers' compensation claims for mid-to-senior executives. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college preferred.
• Four (4) years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze workers' compensation claims to determine benefits and ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices.
• Develop and manage action plans for claims, coordinate return-to-work efforts, and approve claim payments.
• Approve and process assigned claims, determine indemnities due, and manage actions per client contracts.
• Handle subrogation and negotiate settlements as needed.
• Communicate claim activity with claimants and clients; maintain professional relationships.
• Ensure proper documentation and accurate coding of claim files.
