Job summary

Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) is seeking a Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant to design, configure, test, deploy, and stabilise the Workday Adaptive Planning solution as part of ERP Phase II.

You will collaborate with Finance, People and Culture, Information Technology, Workday, and project stakeholders to translate planning requirements into practical system solutions that strengthen budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, and financial analytics.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in finance, accounting, business administration, information systems, computer science, or a related field.
• Significant hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and supporting Workday Adaptive Planning in complex organizations.
• Experience with Workday Financial Management and Workday Human Capital Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering, process review, and solution-design workshops with business owners and stakeholders.
• Configure and develop Workday Adaptive Planning models, sheets, versions, accounts, formulas, and security.
• Design data mappings, validation rules, and reconciliation controls for data integrations.
• Develop tests, support deployment, and assist with go-live and stabilization.
• Prepare documentation and knowledge-transfer materials for admins and users.
