Systemex Automation is seeking a Solutions Consultant to support the sales team by analyzing customer warehouse operations and developing customized automation solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design concepts using AMRs/AGVs, AS/RS, and conveyors, and help build business cases and proposals.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or automation with 10+ years of experience, fluent French, and willingness to travel up to 20% across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, automation, or related discipline with 10+ years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse automation and material-handling systems.
• Proficiency in data analysis using Excel; Power BI and AI experience are assets.
• French language mandatory; English also required for cross-border collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Visit customer sites to assess warehouse operations and identify automation opportunities.
• Analyze operational data (SKUs, orders, labour, throughput) to define customer needs.
• Design customized automation concepts using AMRs/AGVs, AS/RS, conveyors, and sortation.
• Develop layouts, system specs, and technical concepts with CAD and modeling tools.
• Create ROI, TCO analyses and compare solutions for best fit.
• Support sales with presentations, proposals, and cost estimates.
• Collaborate with engineering, software, and vendors to ensure integration.
• Provide technical expertise through design reviews, installation, testing, and go-live.
