The Vice President of Product will lead the product marketing, product management, and product development teams. In this role, you will manage a team responsible for all facets of the product lifecycle, focusing on driving long-term growth. The VP will develop a strategic vision and roadmap, enhancing the value of Globys products for existing clients and bringing new products to market. The role will ensure that existing products meet client requirements and develop new products aligned with market needs.

The successful candidate will possess a combination of strategic vision, business acumen, and strong execution skills. Experience in incorporating client perspectives into product roadmaps and strategies and building relationships with executive stakeholders is ideal.

The VP of Product will develop go-to-market strategies, product value propositions, and positioning/messaging to target prospects. You will serve as the internal and external advocate for Globys solutions, collaborating with Sales and key clients. This is a highly visible, impactful position that supports business growth.

This remote role is open to candidates anywhere in Canada and the US. It involves working in PST, EST, or CET (Europe) time zones, with up to 25% travel between Canada and the US. A valid passport is required for travel.

Key Accountabilities

1. Manage the entire product lifecycle, from strategy to tactical activities, emphasizing market trends and client needs.
2. Lead ongoing evaluation of market conditions through research and customer relationships to identify growth opportunities and product improvements.
3. Identify, validate, and prioritize product development initiatives, building business cases as needed.
4. Oversee product pricing, refining existing models and developing new ones.
5. Work with customers and cross-functional teams to define and execute product roadmaps, considering market trends and emerging technologies.

Strategic Vision & Leadership

1. Develop and communicate a clear product development vision aligned with company goals, focusing on value creation and capture.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful product delivery.
3. Manage product budgets and financial performance to ensure profitability.

Product Roadmap & Scalability

1. Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and threats, informing product decisions.
2. Incorporate user experience and design thinking into product development.
3. Promote an agile environment for rapid iteration and responsiveness.
4. Drive continuous improvement in product development and operations.
5. Contribute product information and updates internally and externally.

Qualifications

• At least 8+ years of experience in building enterprise software features and solutions.
• At least 6+ years in people management or team leadership focused on development.
• Experience with UX design and its value in products.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with executives and technical teams.
• Ability to establish key product metrics for usage and feature efficacy.
• Ability to handle ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
