Job summary

Assistance Services Group (ASG), a Foundever Group company, seeks a Contractor Medical Advisor to provide independent clinical expertise for telehealth programs across Canada. The role emphasizes virtual care policy development, clinical governance, and medical adjudication, liaising with health authorities and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will hold an MD and CPSNB license, with recent primary care or urgent care experience and strong English/French communication skills.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized medical school.
• Licensed physician in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick (CPSNB).
• Authorized to practice in Horizon Health Network and Vitalité Health.
• Recent clinical experience in primary/urgent care or relevant specialties.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent clinical expertise across telehealth programs with a focus on virtual care.
• Advise on development and review of clinical policies, pathways, and protocols.
• Act as medical consultant for establishment and review of 811 guidelines and telehealth content.
• Participate in quality assurance activities including chart reviews and medical adjudication.
