Job summary

Mohawk Medbuy Corporation is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Associate to support its Nursing team within Strategic Sourcing. Reporting to a Senior Manager, you will coordinate the procurement process, manage contract information, and support supplier relations and issue resolution.

Proficiency with MS Office and e-tendering systems is required. The role involves preparing RFx documents, maintaining contract files, and collaborating with Members and internal teams to ensure value and compliance.

Qualifications

• Post secondary degree or diploma.
• 1-2 years’ experience in a purchasing/sourcing environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a high concentration on Customer Service.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Adaptability with a desire to learn.
• Proven organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrated follow-up abilities.
• Results orientated.
• Self-starter, highly motivated, works well without constant supervision.
• Able to organize, control and coordinate activities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge/experience in materials provisioning and understanding of business and legal issues.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support all stages of the RFP process.
• Prepare NDAs, COIs and other procurement documents.
• Manage contract information and supplier communications.
• Prepare and maintain auditable contract files and documentation.
• Maintain and update the contract management system for all contracts and amendments.
