Job summary

nesto is Canada’s leading provider of mortgage technology and financing solutions. We are hiring a Senior Solution Architect to translate business requirements into scalable blueprints for the Nesto Cloud platform, partnering with product teams, engineers, and external vendors.

You will design end-to-end architectures, drive best practices, and ensure compliance with enterprise standards while enabling rapid delivery across a remote-first environment in Canada.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years in solution/architecture role.
• Cloud platform expertise (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Experience with microservices, REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Event-driven architecture and domain-driven design.
• Strong communication to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of SDLC and enterprise architecture standards.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into architectural blueprints.
• Design end-to-end solution blueprints for new products and integrations.
• Evaluate tools, frameworks, cloud services, databases, and integration patterns.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards and tech strategy.
• Communicate designs and trade-offs to audiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Advocate for modern architectural practices like microservices and DDD.
