Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Remote Senior Financial Controller to oversee financial reporting and accounting operations for a growing enterprise. This fully remote leadership role offers autonomy to manage financial integrity and compliance from your home office.

You will coordinate IFRS/GAAP reporting, manage external audits, and implement robust internal controls while mentoring a remote accounting team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation required.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive accounting/financial management experience, incl. 3+ years as controller.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience managing audits and liaising with external auditors.
• Proven ability to lead remote teams and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting functions: AP, AR, GL, and payroll.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements per IFRS/GAAP.
• Manage external audit process and auditor relationships.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to protect assets and data integrity.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team, including remote staff.
• Ensure tax compliance and reporting requirements.

About the Role
