Job summary

ARC Business Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Functional Consultant to join our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central practice on a contract basis.

This remote role will lead functional workstreams, translate business requirements into effective BC configurations, and mentor junior team members. You will run workshops, design solutions across Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, and Inventory, support data migration, testing, training, and post-go-live support, while engaging clients

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on functional consulting with Dynamics 365 Business Central (or Dynamics NAV).
• Experience leading full-cycle ERP implementations, including requirements analysis, configuration, testing, and go-live support.
• Strong knowledge of Core BC modules: GL, AP/AR, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Purchasing, Sales.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional design documentation.
• Experience with data migration activities and ERP data structures.
• Excellent client-facing communication and workshop facilitation skills.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada; BC certification(s) preferred.
• Familiarity with AL extensions and Power Platform in BC context.
• Experience with public sector / utility / municipal government clients is a plus.
• English/French bilingual is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements-gathering workshops with client stakeholders to define business processes.
• Design, configure, and document BC solutions across Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Purchasing, and Inventory.
• Develop functional and design specifications; scope extensions with technical teams.
• Lead or support data migration activities, including mapping, cleansing, and validation.
• Coordinate and execute system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Develop and deliver end-user training and knowledge-transfer sessions.
• Provide go-live and post-go-live support, including troubleshooting and hypercare.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing.
