Job summary

ESO is seeking a Security Engineering Team Leader in Canada to guide a team protecting mission-critical applications used by firefighters, paramedics, hospitals and governments. The role emphasizes threat modelling, security design, and cross‑team collaboration across a multi‑cloud environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years securing software or infrastructure in cloud environments.
• Experience applying security to networks, hosts, web apps and cloud native deployments.
• Familiarity with security tools: asset management, vulnerability mgmt, firewalls, SIEM, IAM, DLP, CNAPP.

Responsibilities

• Lead Security Engineers to deliver security consulting across the business.
• Collaborate with Product & Technology to design secure architectures and deployment.
• Model threats using STRIDE against new designs and ensure protections are in place.
• Mitigate vulnerabilities and evaluate next‑gen security technologies.
• Respond to security and compliance issues from analysis or automated tools.
