Hootsuite is seeking a seasoned Manager of Revenue Accounting to lead the end-to-end revenue recognition function under ASC 606, partnering with Sales, Revenue Operations, Legal and FP&A to ensure accurate financial reporting in a fast-growth SaaS environment.

This role ensures strong internal controls and compliance across jurisdictions, requiring CPA with Big Four and deep IFRS/US GAAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Serve as internal technical accounting expert for revenue accounting under IFRS 15 / ASC 606.
• Develop and implement revenue recognition policies and processes.
• Manage the monthly close related to revenue and related schedules.
• Prepare revenue disclosures for financial statements.
• Monitor IFRS and SEC developments to ensure compliance.
• Partner with Sales, Revenue Operations, Legal and FP&A to improve processes.
• Develop and deliver training on revenue recognition.
• Participate in monthly and quarterly revenue forecasting.
• Coordinate with external and internal audit on revenue matters.
