Job summary

Varsity Tutors is seeking Certified Reading Intervention tutors to join our Live Learning Platform. You’ll reach students nationwide, work remotely from home, set your own hours, and earn competitive rates such as up to $40/hour.

You’ll teach with evidence-based strategies, provide clear instruction, and benefit from AI Tutor Copilot to support sessions. We handle invoicing and payments, and tutors can be paid up to twice per week.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of evidence-based reading intervention strategies and phonics instruction.
• Ability to assess reading difficulties and design targeted intervention plans.
• Experience delivering explicit reading instruction and using multiple approaches.

Responsibilities

• 1-on-1 online tutoring with individualized instruction.
• Instant tutoring requests accepted when available.
