Job summary

Fluent Software Group seeks a Portfolio Controller to own controllership, treasury, and compliance across its software portfolio. This role partners with finance and business leaders to improve reporting quality while maintaining robust internal controls and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of accounting and financial reporting experience at manager/controller level.
• CPA, CA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Experience leading teams and overseeing key accounting processes across multiple entities.
• Strong IFRS technical knowledge with consolidation experience and intercompany transactions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes including cash flows and dividend declarations.
• Oversee treasury functions: cash planning, banking, debt management, and working capital optimization.
• Coordinate tax compliance and transfer pricing in collaboration with external advisors.
• Lead technical accounting guidance on IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IFRS 3 and consolidations across businesses.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and improve cross-entity consistency.
• Strengthen internal controls and support clean audit outcomes.
• Support acquisition integration from a technical accounting perspective, including PPA reviews.
• Manage a small team of 2-3 staff, coach and develop personnel.
