Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of our partner, seeks an FSP - Clinical Team Lead in Ophthalmology for Canada. This remote, full-time leadership role oversees clinical delivery across studies, guiding a multidisciplinary team and ensuring quality, timelines, and budgets.

You will mentor team members, manage start-up, monitoring, data activities, and close-out while navigating a matrixed, global environment with vendors and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences; related allied health certification acceptable.
• 5+ years in clinical research/monitoring; 3+ years leadership of clinical project teams.
• Prior clinical monitoring experience required.
• Experience overseeing external vendors (CROs, labs, call centers).
• Knowledge of ICH-GCP and international regulatory requirements.
• Experience in matrixed/virtual environments.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, Access, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Own clinical project delivery, meeting client expectations, quality, timelines, and budgets.
• Develop and execute study strategies with teams and stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration in a matrixed, multicultural environment.
• Oversee site management, recruitment, monitoring, and data activities.
• Mentor team members and strengthen delivery practices.
• Manage budgets, resources, and change orders; track project metrics.
