Job summary

CMH Heli-Skiing & Summer Adventures seeks a First Cook to lead lunch service for in-lodge guests and field meals. The role supports culinary staff across the ski season in a remote BC lodge environment, with a split 11-hour day schedule and two weeks on, one week off. Accommodation is provided on shift, at no extra cost.

You will plan menus, manage stock, and ensure high-quality meals while meeting dietary needs and maintaining standards in a luxury hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in hospitality field is preferred.
• Food Safe Certification.
• Minimum 1 year experience preparing sauces, dips, soups, sandwiches, etc.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Background in luxury hospitality or fine dining preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lunches for the field program and for the staff and guests at the lodge.
• Participate in menu planning, ordering, and receiving of kitchen products.
• Maintain stock rotation, ordering and production to minimize wastage.
• Ensure regular cleaning and upkeep of the kitchen area and equipment.
• Attend staff meetings and pre-service lineups; accommodate dietary needs.
