Job summary

CMH Heli-Skiing & Summer Adventures is seeking a First Cook to lead the lunch program at a remote BC lodge. You will prepare in-lodge lunches and field-packed meals for staff and guests, supporting the culinary team throughout the ski season.

The role requires post-secondary hospitality education, Food Safe certification, and at least one year of fast-paced kitchen experience. You’ll work in a luxury hospitality setting, with a split shift and two weeks on / one week off, and accommodation

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in hospitality field is preferred.
• Food Safe Certification required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in fast-paced kitchen environments.
• Ability to prepare sauces, dips, soups, sandwiches, and charcuterie.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lunches for field program and lodge guests.
• Assist in menu planning, ordering and receiving kitchen products.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper stock rotation to minimize waste.
• Attend staff and department meetings and pre-service line-ups.
• Respond to dietary needs with attentiveness and professionalism.
