Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Expert (remote, Canada-based) to contribute to an AI training project focused on design, modeling, and multiaxial simulation. You will translate physical requirements into analytical and computational models and develop validation workflows with AI coding agents, delivering high-quality results independently.

The role emphasizes rigorous engineering principles, advanced simulation tasks, and collaboration with a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent expertise.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and their application to complex problems.
• Experience developing analytical, computational, or simulation-based solutions.
• Understanding of design, physical modeling, simulation workflows and validation.
• Ability to translate physical requirements into mathematical or computational representations.

Responsibilities

• Solve and validate mechanical engineering problems involving design, analysis, simulation, testing, and research & development.
• Translate physical systems and requirements into analytical or computational models.
• Develop and evaluate engineering geometry and meshes for simulation tasks.
• Configure materials, loads, boundary conditions, contacts, and solver inputs.
• Conduct simulations across structural, thermal, mechanical, and multiphysics domains.
• Evaluate results and ensure models satisfy physical principles and constraints.
• Create, review, and refine technical tasks to support AI training and evaluation.
• Apply coding-intensive workflows to develop computational solutions and automate processes.
• Use AI coding agents to support engineering workflows and problem solving.
• Identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in models.
