Job summary

Coloplast Canada is seeking a Market Access Specialist to support reimbursement, market access, government affairs, and stakeholder engagement initiatives that improve patient access to Coloplast products.

The role collaborates with Commercial, Marketing, Clinical, Regulatory, Consumer Care, and Global teams to develop submissions, value communications, and market access plans that demonstrate clinical, economic, and patient value across the Canadian market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in political science, government affairs, health policy or related discipline.
• 3+ years' experience in market access, reimbursement, health economics, healthcare consulting, government affairs, public policy, or related healthcare field.
• Knowledge of the Canadian healthcare system, including provincial and federal funding mechanisms, reimbursement processes, and health policy development.
• Understanding of the pricing/reimbursement environment and the government/payer review process within the medical device/life science industry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of Canadian reimbursement frameworks, funding programs, and payer requirements.
• Support development and execution of market access plans and reimbursement initiatives.
• Prepare and coordinate reimbursement submissions, funding applications, value dossiers, and supporting documentation for payers.
• Gather, analyze, and summarize reimbursement, policy, and market access information for decision making.
• Monitor reimbursement developments and communicate insights to stakeholders.
