You will lead ML model development, guide a team of data scientists, and collaborate with bioinformaticians, geneticists, and clinicians to accelerate personalized medicine.

The role requires a PhD/MSc with 10+ years in data science, strong Python/R skills, cloud/distributed computing expertise, and outstanding leadership and communication capabilities in a remote

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc in data science, CS, statistics, bioinformatics, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in data science with genomics/precision medicine focus.
• Expertise in machine learning algorithms (deep learning, supervised/unsupervised) and statistical modeling.
• Proficient in Python and R; experience with cloud computing and distributed systems.
• Strong leadership, project management, and remote team mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and application of ML models and statistical methods for large-scale genomic datasets.
• Design data mining strategies to identify biomarkers and predictive signatures.
• Collaborate with domain experts to translate biological questions into data science problems.
• Mentor and guide a team of data scientists, fostering innovation and excellence.
