Job summary

Canoco Energy Services is hiring for Journeyperson Boilermakers to support fabrication shop operations. You will perform neat tube work, assembly, and maintenance on heat exchanger components in a busy shop environment.

Ideal candidates hold a journeyperson or apprentice trade certification (Pipefitter or Boilermaker) with hands-on experience in fin fan retube, tube rolling/expansion, and related fabrication tasks, while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform aerial cooler bundle retube work in a shop environment.
• Complete tube rolling/expansion and bolt-up of cooler frame hardware.
• Support bundle pulling and mechanical disassembly/reassembly.
• Assist with leak detection, hydrotest prep, and pressure work.
• Read GA drawings and OEM specs for proper fit-up.
• Conduct basic rigging and controlled lifts per safety rules.
• Operate tools safely and maintain a clean, organized shop.
• Follow safety policies and work independently or in teams.

Position: Journeyperson Boilermakers – Fabrication Shop

We are seeking Journeyperson or Apprentice Pipefitters or Boilermakers (employees & DSPs) with experience, ideally within exchanger, fin fan, or maintenance scope experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform aerial cooler bundle retube work in a shop environment, including tube removal, extraction, cleaning, and reinstallation on air-cooled heat exchangers
• Complete tube rolling/expanding, bolt-up, torquing, and tensioning of cooler frame hardware to required specifications
• Support bundle pulling activities and assist with mechanical disassembly and reassembly of exchanger components
• Assist with tube leak detection, hydrotest preparation, and pressure-related work
• Read and interpret isometrics, GA drawings, and OEM specifications to ensure proper alignment and fit-up
• Perform basic rigging and controlled lifts in accordance with safe work practices
• Operate tools and equipment safely while maintaining a clean and organized work environment
• Follow all safety policies and work independently or within a team to meet shop production schedules
