Job summary

Canoco Energy Services is hiring Journeyperson or Apprentice Pipefitters or Boilermakers for our fabrication shop. You will perform retube work on air-cooled heat exchangers, read ISO drawings, and support maintenance and assembly tasks in a fast-paced shop environment.

Ideal candidates have solid experience with tube rolling, expansion, leak detection, and hydrotest preparation, and can work safely within production schedules. We value teamwork, safety, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson or Apprentice trade certification (Pipefitter or Boilermaker).
• Experience with fin fan retube, heat exchanger maintenance, and tube replacement.
• Ability to read ISO and fabrication drawings.
• Ability to work within shop production schedules and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform aerial cooler bundle retube work in a shop environment, including tube removal, extraction, cleaning, and reinstallation on air-cooled heat exchangers.
• Complete tube rolling/expanding, bolt-up, torquing, and tensioning of cooler frame hardware to required specifications.
• Support bundle pulling activities and assist with mechanical disassembly and reassembly of exchanger components.
• Assist with tube leak detection, hydrotest preparation, and pressure-related work.
• Read and interpret isometrics, GA drawings, and OEM specifications to ensure proper alignment and fit-up.
• Perform basic rigging and controlled lifts in accordance with safe work practices.
• Operate tools and equipment safely while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety policies and work independently or within a team to meet shop production schedules.

Position: Journeyperson Boilermakers – Fabrication Shop

We are seeking Journeyperson or Apprentice Pipefitters or Boilermakers (employees & DSPs) with experience, ideally within exchanger, fin fan, or maintenance scope experience
