Job summary

Zensurance is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to join our growing IT team. Reporting to the Associate Director, IT, you will drive configuration, maintenance, and deployment of IT systems with a focus on automation, scalability, and security in a remote-first Canada-wide role.

This hands-on position involves eliminating manual processes, building scalable solutions via APIs, and partnering with business teams to translate needs into practical technical outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or IT support.
• University degree or college diploma in a technical program (or equivalent work experience).
• Experience implementing SSO, VPNs, and MFA.
• Strong APIs and automation knowledge; ability to design/build solutions.
• Hands-on with IAM and software management tools; Jira Service Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer IT software and services (JumpCloud, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Confluence/Jira).
• Configure and maintain identity and access for third-party tools (Salesforce, Zendesk, RingCentral, M365).
• Identify and resolve manual processes via automation and APIs.
• Plan and implement IT initiatives, migrations, and new services.
• Provide Tier 2 support and manage IT queue; escalate when needed.
• Develop technical and user-friendly policies and procedures.
