Job summary

M3C Recrutement is actively seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead ESG and Health & Safety projects on a 12-month mandate. The role is 100% remote with occasional travel within Canada and internationally, focusing on delivering strategic initiatives across ESG and HSE portfolios.

The consultant will manage varied IT projects—from system enhancements to enterprise implementations—using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid approaches, while coordinating across multiple teams and vendors and ensuring

Qualifications

• Experience leading IT projects from initiation through closure.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management credential.
• Experience delivering ESG, environmental management, sustainability, or health & safety projects.
• Experience coordinating enterprise apps, data initiatives, reporting solutions, multi-site deployments.
• Fluent in English and French, written and spoken.
• Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and project management, collaboration, and reporting tools.
• Willingness to travel within Canada and internationally.
• Experience with AI tools in project planning, reporting, risk management, and knowledge management.
• Experience in mining, natural resources, or regulated industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT projects of varying size and complexity in ESG and Health & Safety domains.
• Develop and maintain charters, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and roadmaps.
• Manage scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, risks, issues, and changes.
• Coordinate activities across business units, sites, technology teams, and vendors.
• Establish governance, decision forums, escalation paths, and reporting routines.
• Manage vendor SOWs, contracts, and service delivery performance.
• Provide clear project reporting to executives and governance bodies.
• Apply Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies as required.
• Support stakeholder engagement, change readiness, and adoption of solutions.
• Promote PM best practices and knowledge transfer.
