Job summary

Nasittuq Corporation in Canada seeks an Inuit Benefits Advisor Trainee to engage with Inuit employees, support career development, and promote workforce integration across remote Nunavut and Inuvialuit regions.

You will represent Nasittuq at conferences and events, coordinate training opportunities, and collaborate with HR to address workplace concerns while fostering strong community relationships.

Responsibilities

• Consult with Inuit employees on workplace needs and career goals; assist in navigating challenges including mentorship and development.
• Travel to Nasittuq main sites regularly (with trade shows/events) to meet Inuit employees and support their success.
• Participate in HR interview processes for Inuit candidates; provide information on training and available support.
• Address employee concerns confidentially and refer to HR, EAP or local health resources as needed.
