Job summary

Scarborough Health Network is seeking an Interface Integration Specialist for OCINet in Ontario. You will enable data interoperability across HIS, RIS, PACS, VNA and provincial services, supporting critical imaging workflows and patient safety.

The role emphasizes designing interfaces, developing data mappings, and maintaining integration engines while collaborating with clinical, technical and vendor teams. A strong leadership and mentoring aptitude is required.

Qualifications

• College diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Health Informatics (preferred).
• Minimum ten years of healthcare interface integration experience.
• Minimum five years leading integration projects.
• Rhapsody interface engine expertise is required.
• Expert HL7 v2 knowledge and understanding of XML, FHIR, DICOM.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test and maintain healthcare data interfaces using HL7, FHIR, CDA, XML and JSON.
• Develop interface specifications, data mappings, and workflow documentation.
• Configure and maintain integration engines and automate processes.
• Write queries and stored procedures in SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• Lead integration workstreams and mentor analysts.
