Placements24 seeks a Remote Industrial Engineer to lead the design and deployment of optimized industrial processes from anywhere in South Africa. You will conceptualize, simulate, and document new systems, collaborating with global teams to ensure reliable implementation and measurable efficiency gains.

The role requires a Ph.D. or Master’s in Industrial or Chemical Engineering, 10+ years of experience, and strong skills in process simulation, CAD, and data analysis.

Qualificações

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or closely related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in industrial engineering, with focus on process design and optimization.
• Proven ability to develop and implement novel industrial processes.
• Expertise in process simulation software (Aspen Plus, Arena), CAD, and data analysis tools.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Conceptualize, design, and document new industrial processes and systems.
• Use simulation and modeling tools to test and validate process designs before implementation.
• Develop P&IDs, equipment specs, and SOPs for new processes.
• Identify and integrate new technologies and automation to improve efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with remote teams to ensure successful process deployment.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed innovations.
