The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 7+ years in process control within manufacturing, with hands-on DeltaV/Experion and Rockwell/Siemens PLC experience, plus strong instrumentation knowledge.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in process control engineering within manufacturing or chemical processing environments.
- Proven experience with DCS from major vendors (e.g., Emerson DeltaV, Honeywell Experion).
- Proficiency in PLC programming and configuration (Rockwell, Siemens).
- Knowledge of APC concepts and tools.
- Strong instrumentation, sensors, and control valves knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain process control systems, including DCS and PLC platforms.
- Develop and implement Advanced Process Control (APC) strategies to optimize plant performance.
- Collaborate with process engineers and operations teams to define control system requirements and objectives.
- Develop control strategies, logic, and user interfaces for new installations and modifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems, instrumentation, and automation.
- Ensure the safety and reliability of control systems, adhering to industry standards.
- Provide technical support and training to maintenance and operations personnel.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in process control technology and automation.
- Participate in project management for control system upgrades and implementations.
- Develop and maintain documentation for control system designs and configurations.
