Unified Immigration Lawyers (formerly Matkowsky Immigration Law) is a Toronto-based law firm serving individuals, families, entrepreneurs, and employers on Canadian and U.S. immigration matters.

We are seeking an experienced Immigration Lawyer to join our growing legal team and manage client matters from consultation to completion in a fast-paced, fully remote environment. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of Canadian immigration law experience, is licensed and in good standing with the Law

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Canadian immigration law experience required.
• Must be licensed and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian immigration law and procedures.
• Experience managing immigration files independently from start to finish.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven legal research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload with competing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client consultations and assess immigration options.
• Manage a diverse caseload of Canadian immigration matters from start to finish.
• Advise clients on eligibility, requirements, timelines and risks.
• Prepare and review applications and supporting documents for submission.
• Stay current on changes in immigration law, regulations, and case law.
• Represent clients before relevant tribunals and government bodies as needed.
• Communicate with clients via telephone and email to provide timely advice.
