Job Description:
Pathfinders, an online learning agency, is hiring website editors, Internet Technicians, and Digital Marketing Specialists with priority foreign language skills for summer positions funded by Canada Summer Jobs. Successful applicants will be fluent in Greek or Danish and conversant in English. Responsibilities include proofreading, editing WordPress website articles translated into the priority language using AI translation systems.
Training in WordPress will be provided. Tasks include formatting webpages, checking and editing hyperlinks, embedding audio/video content, updating menus, developing downloadable PDFs, and building Google Ads. Working remotely with an online team, applicants will also develop Google Ads and edit YouTube subtitles in their language.
Applicants are expected to attend weekly online meetings (with camera on), report on work progress, and track hours and tasks completed.
Work Term: 8 or 16 weeks from April to August.
Location: Remote work from any location within Canada.
Wages: Minimum wage based on province of residence.
Eligibility: Positions funded by Canada Summer Jobs are limited to applicants aged 15–30 who are Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or have refugee status. International students or those with foreign work permits are ineligible.
