Job summary

Outlier is seeking talented, detail-oriented English speakers to help train generative AI voice, image, and video models. This freelance opportunity is remote and offers flexible hours, so you can work whenever it suits you.

You’ll hold live conversations in English with AI voice models, compare AI-generated media, inspect outputs for issues, and provide concise, evidence-based explanations in English. A Bachelor's degree or higher and strong attention to detail are desirable.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong, clear written communication and comfortable with natural, everyday conversational speech.
• Excellent attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Able to think on your feet and discuss realistic situations in a natural, conversational way.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which one better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, or misaligned audio and video.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific English explanation.
