Job summary

Mysten Labs is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead engineers building wallet and DeFi experiences for the Sui ecosystem. You will own team health, set technical direction for account creation, key management, signing, and onchain interactions across web, mobile, and backend services.

You will partner with product, design, security, protocol, and ecosystem teams to ship dependable experiences while maintaining high standards of reliability, observability, and security in an asset-sensitive

Qualifications

• Experience managing and developing engineers in a high-ownership product environment.
• Direct experience shipping production blockchain wallet functionality.
• Hands-on DeFi fluency with onchain assets and DeFi protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead, hire, coach, and retain a team of engineers across wallet clients, supporting services, and onchain integrations.
• Set technical direction for account creation, key management, signing, transaction construction and simulation, dApp connectivity, asset management, swaps, and other DeFi experiences.
• Create clear ownership and execution plans across web, browser extension, iOS, Android, backend services, SDKs, and protocol dependencies.
• Raise standards for architecture, testing, release safety, observability, incident response, and post-incident learning in an asset-sensitive product.
• Partner with product and design to simplify complex onchain workflows while disclosing material fees, permissions, risks, and transaction outcomes.
