Qualifications

Post-secondary Education Assistant education (college diploma, Career college certificate, or Certificate of Qualification).
4 years of EA work within the last 10 years.
Reliable high-speed internet connection for online instruction and communication.
Ontario resident; remote work allowed but must reside in Ontario, Canada.
Current EA certification, Vulnerable Sector Check (within past 6 months), eligibility to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive lesson plans for all subjects.
Deliver engaging live online theory instruction for all subjects.
Monitor and enforce attendance requirements throughout the program.
Develop and administer tests, assignments, presentations and practical evaluations.
Identify students at risk and implement early intervention strategies.
Complete mid-term progress reports for all students.
Provide timely feedback on student progress.
Maintain accurate records of grades, attendance, and performance.
Stay current with changes to Ontario legislation affecting EA training.
Deliver instruction using Microsoft Teams and similar online platforms.
Communicate effectively via email, online platforms and phone.
