Job summary

CDI College, Inc. is seeking a Sustainable Business Development Instructor for a part-time, hybrid/remote role. You will deliver engaging instruction, develop lesson plans, and guide students through coursework aligned with learning objectives.

The ideal candidate holds a degree or diploma in Business or related field, has at least two years of industry experience, and can communicate clearly, facilitate sessions, and provide constructive feedback. Adult education experience is an asset.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Adult education certification is an asset.
• Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Knowledge of current industry practices and commitment to professional development.
• Ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging instruction based on the course curriculum and learning objectives.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and exams.
• Evaluate student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and student progress records.
• Support students and promote a positive, respectful learning environment.
• Update course materials and contribute to curriculum development.
• Communicate with the Campus Director regarding student progress or concerns.
• Participate in campus activities, meetings, orientations, and graduations.
• Collaborate with administration and other instructors.
• Substitute for instructors when required.
• Monitor and support students during practicum or clinical placements, when applicable.
• Follow all College policies, procedures, and professional standards.
