Job summary

Cambrian College's School of Skills Training is seeking part-time professors to teach in the Truck & Coach Technician program - Apprenticeship starting in January 2026. The ideal candidates hold Truck & Coach 310T Red Seal qualifications, bring at least five years of relevant work experience, and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

They should be able to model professional conduct, employ creative teaching approaches, stay organized, and work well in a team

Required:

• Must hold Truck & Coach 310T Red Seal Qualifications (A copy of educational documents must be submitted with application *** education completed outside of Canada, applicants are required to submit a WES or ICAS with their application )
• Five years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and superior oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to be an effective role model in the classroom.
• Ability to use creative teaching approaches and current and emerging teaching and learning strategies to enhance student progress.
• Possess good organizational skills and sound computer software skills.
• Ability to function within a team environment

Additional Assets/Preferred:

• Previous teaching experience at the postsecondary level.
