Job summary

Lynx is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer – DO178 to ensure that our software development processes meet DO-178 and DO-254 certification standards. This remote Canada role collaborates with engineers, certification authorities, and project leads to plan, execute, and audit quality activities across the software lifecycle.

You will help shape Lynx’s SQA processes, tools, and culture to scale reliably and safely while supporting safety-critical verification and traceability across

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or related field with exposure to safety-critical software.
• Experience supporting DO-178/DO-254 certification activities and audits.
• Familiarity with documentation practices and lifecycle processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and audit quality activities across the software development lifecycle.
• Support certification artifacts and traceability for DO-178/DO-254 programs.
• Coordinate with certification authorities, engineers, and project leads.
• Maintain certification evidence packages and manage review comments.
