Pratt & Whitney Canada in Longueuil or Mississauga is seeking a Control Systems Software Certification Engineer to support safety-critical engine software certification. You will cover requirements, design, development, verification, and DO-178C compliance across legacy and in-service systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Software, or Aerospace Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in controls, embedded systems, avionics, or gas turbine environments
• Strong experience in complex control systems or safety-critical software environments

Responsibilities

• Lead and support certification activities across the DO-178C lifecycle
• Develop and review software requirements, design, and verification artifacts
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers on certification and verification campaigns
• Ensure compliance with DO-178C guidelines throughout development
