Job summary

Grainger Canada is seeking a Manager, District Sales to drive sales targets across a regional district. The role is remote-based and open to candidates in SW Ontario (KW, London, Hamilton, Niagara, Windsor, Sarnia).

You will build and coach a strong sales team, develop and implement the district plan, and manage budgets and territory lists to achieve revenue and GM% growth while maintaining ethics and high customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Graduation from TechnicalSchool, University and/or College with focus on Sales & Marketing Management, plus experience.
• Several years of successful selling and preferably sales management experience.
• Experience supervising and motivating a large sales force.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Computer literate.
• Ability to make own decisions within defined limits of the position.
• Role may require site visits to customers with PPE and screening as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a motivated, competent district sales team.
• Lead professional development and training of the sales force.
• Assist Regional Director with district sales plan development and execution.
• Collaborate with Regional Director to set priorities and actions to achieve budget.
• Set sales budgets and territory lists for reps in the district.
• Ensure target GM% growth and market share milestones are met.
• Review quarterly progress and take corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure adherence to the Code of Ethics.
• Maintain liaison with Top 50 customers/prospects in the district.
• Collaborate with Branch Managers to meet customer needs.
