Job summary

Loblaw Companies Limited is seeking a Designer for PC Express to elevate digital design across on-brand, on-strategy assets. You will lead visual design from ideation through production and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

A strong portfolio and advanced tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Figma are essential. You will ensure brand consistency, participate in design sessions, and manage multiple projects in sprint workflows while keeping accessibility (AODA) in mind.

Qualifications

Several years experience in digital design creating digital marketing
A strong portfolio – only those with a portfolio will be considered
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
Knowledge of digital design process and best practices, including image optimization, responsive design, and basic HTML and CSS, and content management systems
Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
Open-minded and able to give and take constructive feedback. Participate in design sessions and contribute through creative input.

Responsibilities

Participate in design sessions and contribute through creative concepts and creative input. Lead visual design from concept to completion and contribute to campaign conceptualization and photography shoots.
Create designs that are consistent with our brand guidelines. Be accountable for brand consistency across campaigns and assets.
Work closely with cross-functional business teams in sprint workflows
Present design solutions to key stakeholders.
Be detailed in your organization of projects. This includes management of project briefs, awareness of project specs, deadlines, files, etc.
Balance and manage own workload according to the established business priorities and timelines.
Ensure that our digital products can be experienced by everyone, reflecting the diversity of the communities we serve, through an applied understanding of AODA design requirements.
