Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a DevOps Administrator based in Canada to operate and evolve reliable, secure infrastructure. You will work hands-on with Linux systems, containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and IaC, blending day-to-day admin tasks with automation initiatives.

You will monitor systems, manage incidents, and build automated deployments while collaborating across technical teams to improve visibility and resilience of core services.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Red Hat and Oracle Linux environments.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD tooling.
• Experience with VMware and scripting for automation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, investigate incidents, and drive timely resolution with clear documentation.
• Configure and improve monitoring and incident-management processes with cross-functional teams.
• Design and implement backup strategies to ensure business continuity and resilience.
• Develop and maintain automated deployment processes and IaC to improve consistency and scalability.
• Collaborate across departments to enable automated monitoring of core services.
• Review Grafana dashboards for data accuracy and support continuous improvement.
• Assist in testing vendor implementations and enhancing VMware solutions.
• Contribute to standards, automation initiatives, and infrastructure optimization projects.
