emergiTEL Inc. is seeking a DevOps Specialist to join our remote‑first delivery teams across Canada. You will design and implement CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud deployments, and drive automation across multiple projects, collaborating with cross‑functional Agile teams.

The role emphasizes production readiness, observability, and rapid delivery while enabling secure, scalable services. Occasional Edmonton onsite meetings up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in DevOps, cloud operations, or site reliability engineering.
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing automation for deployment and maintenance.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, application deployments, and environment automation.
• Proven experience managing production environments, including configuration, credentials, maintenance, and database operations.
• Experience with monitoring, telemetry, and observability tools.
• Experience supporting integration testing, security scans, system testing, and performance/load testing.
• Experience implementing automated/AI solutions to remove manual processes.

Responsabilités

• Create scripts, tools, and procedures for operations by designing and implementing automation for limited downtime deployment and maintenance.
• Lead operations of digital services in production by: Managing configuration and credentials for the production environment, planning and managing maintenance activities, and handling database upgrades and migrations.
• Provide operations support for implementation and enhancement of digital services by creating templates and patterns for deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Create templates and patterns for application deployments and CI/CD pipelines; automate environment setup for development and testing.
