Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable AWS infrastructure for enterprise platforms. You will work with IaC, CI/CD automation, Docker, and Kubernetes, while embedding security across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on AWS expertise across IAM, VPC, Route 53, and networking concepts.
• Expert level experience with CloudFormation, including StackSets, troubleshooting, remediation, and production support.
• Production IaC experience using Terraform, OpenTofu, and CloudFormation.
• Hands-on experience governing multi-account AWS environments via AWS Organizations.
• Knowledge of CSPM tools and cloud security best practices.
• Scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform, OpenTofu, and CloudFormation.
• Manage multi-account AWS environments using AWS Organizations and governance frameworks.
• Design and support AWS networking (VPCs, TGW, Direct Connect, VPN, Route 53, SGs, NACLs).
• Implement and maintain IAM controls including roles, policies, SSO, and federated identity.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or equivalents.
• Build, deploy, and manage containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Automate provisioning, monitoring, and operations with Python, Bash, and PowerShell."
• Embed security across the SDLC per Secure SDLC practices.
• Utilize CSPM tools to identify, remediate, and improve cloud security posture.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, identity, security, and deployment challenges.
• Collaborate with architecture, security, and application teams to deliver secure, resilient cloud solutions.
