Job summary

Everest Clinical Research is seeking a Clinical Safety Data Associate for Toronto/Markham, Ontario, on-site or remote in Canada under our Work from Home policy. You will develop safety data review plans, code AEs, and support clinical data management to ensure data quality.

The role requires 2–3 years in clinical trial data management, with strong medical coding and laboratory data handling skills, contributing to high-quality trials across global sites.

Qualifications

• RN, MD, MSc, PhD or PharmD in relevant health field.
• 2–3 years in clinical trial data management including medical coding.
• Broad knowledge of clinical trial safety data coding and management.

Responsibilities

• Develop study safety data review plans and data review checklists.
• Review safety data in study databases including AEs/SAEs.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to maintain high-quality data.
• Provide medical advice to Data Managers for SAE reconciliation.
• Code AEs/medical histories using MedDRA; code medications with WHODrug.
