Job summary

NORR Architects Engineers Planners is seeking a BIM Coordinator to support engineering-focused project teams and ensure accurate, coordinated BIM models for efficient, constructible delivery.

You will collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams to manage models, perform clash detection, and reinforce BIM standards across projects, promoting integrated design delivery and effective use of digital tools.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering Technology, Architectural Technology, or related field.
• 3–5 years BIM coordination experience in engineering/consulting environments.
• Strong proficiency in Revit and coordination tools; solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Model Setup & Management: Set up and maintain Revit models aligned with BIM Execution Plans, client requirements, and firm standards.
• Coordination & Integration: Coordinate structural and MEP models to ensure alignment and constructability.
• Clash Detection & Resolution: Run clash detection and support resolution of coordination issues.
• Team Support & Collaboration: Act as liaison between project teams, consultants, and Design Technology; support BIM tools and workflows.
• Standards & Improvement: Apply BIM standards and propose workflow/tool improvements.
