Job summary

Zero To One Strategic is a Canada-based consultancy helping startups maximize non-dilutive funding through grants, subsidies, and tax credits. We seek a Bilingual Grants Specialist to manage a large client portfolio and oversee funding outcomes, coordinating writers and contractors while ensuring on-time, high-quality submissions.

The role emphasizes client management, opportunity oversight, and collaboration with senior teams to scale the grants function across diverse sectors.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of grants experience.
• Experience managing a high volume of clients or projects.
• Strong editing, review and QC skills.
• Solid understanding of Canadian government funding programs (federal, provincial, municipal).
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using tools such as G Suite, CRM platforms (HubSpot), and AI-assisted productivity tools.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication in English and French.
• Experience working with startups or scale-ups is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of 50+ active clients with ongoing grant strategies.
• Coordinate contractors and internal resources to deliver grant outcomes.
• Review, edit, and quality check all submissions before final delivery.
• Track deadlines, submission status, and outcomes across portfolios.
• Collaborate with Customer Success, SR&ED, and other internal teams to ensure a client-focused funding experience.
